What Is the MORPHEUS8?

The Morpheus8 is a high intensity focused, radio-frequency micro-needling treatment, meaning it combines the properties and benefits of both radiofrequency technology and microneedling procedures. The Morpheus8 induces the skin’s self-repair mechanism by creating controlled micro “injuries” in the skin, which, in turn, prompts collagen and elastin production—the two key proteins responsible for skin firmness, tightness, and smoothness.

The exact time depends on the area that is being treated. A Morpheus treatment begins with the application of a topical numbing agent, and requires a full hour of absorption to minimize discomfort during the treatment. Following numbing, the Morpheus treatment itself typically takes 30-45 minutes to complete a full face treatment.

Does the MORPHEUS8 treatment hurt?

While the treatment can sound daunting, we ensure that our patients are comfortable throughout the entire procedure. A topical numbing agent is applied 30 minutes prior to aid any discomfort. The Infini needle tips are microscopic; However, the Infini treatment can cause some discomfort and has been said to feel like a pricking sensation with some heat. Areas with deeper imperfections may cause more discomfort than areas with superficial imperfections.

When can I expect to see results from my MORPHEUS8 treatment?

You can expect visible improvement within a few days. The most noticeable results appear typically in about three to four weeks, however, skin improvements can continue for up to three months following your treatment. Your results will continue to improve as time goes on. The microneedling technology stimulates collagen production in your skin’s structure. As your skin heals over the tiny pinpricks, you will see more rejuvenated skin than ever. In other words, your Morpheus8 treatment results will only improve with time.

How long do results from MORPHEUS8 results last?

Typically, Morpheus8 results can be expected to last between 1-3 years. This wide variation is influenced by one's lifestyle, genetics as every skin type is unique and individuals will react to the treatment differently.

Is there any downtime with a MORPHEUS treatment?

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive procedure with very little downtime. Patients will experience minimal pinkness/ redness that may last up to a week. Superficial bruising may occur, typically around the eyes. Small needle marks may be present for a few days to a week.

Post-procedure: Initially, the skin will feel tight and hot. We always recommend and provide our post-treatment skincare to help accelerate healing and improve outcomes. Once your session is complete, you are free to continue your daily activities, with plenty of sunscreen, of course.

How many MORPHEUS Treatments do I need?

This varies between patient to patient. The recommended amount of treatments for optimal results are three; However, some patients may need more or less.

How often should I get MORPHEUS8 treatments?

Patients should wait 4-6 weeks between Infini treatments. This allows ample time for the skin to heal.

Are there any side effects or possible risks to the MORPHEUS8 ?

The Infini is considered a safe treatment for all skin types. The side effects associated with the Infini are temporary swelling, redness and pin point bleeding. This should subside within 24-36 hours. If you experience any worrisome symptoms, please call your medical provider as soon as possible.

Who is NOT a candidate for the MORPHEUS8 ?

During your consultation an assessment will be made to ensure that you are a candidate for the Infini. Infini may not be safe for those with certain health problems. Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding are not a candidate for Infini.
